The catechumens of the 2024–2025 course with their certificates, following the completion ceremony.

Today marks a joyful and spiritually significant moment in the life of our parish: the official conclusion of the Adult Catechism Course that began in September 2024. After months of prayer, study, and deep reflection, our group of dedicated catechumens has completed their formation, and this morning they were awarded certificates of completion as a sign of their commitment and readiness to continue their journey into the fullness of life in Christ and His Church.

The catechism course, deeply rooted in the patristic tradition and the teaching of the Orthodox Church, was not simply a series of lessons. It was a pilgrimage—a movement from curiosity to conviction, from questions to communion. Through this formation, catechumens engaged with the richness of Holy Scripture, the beauty of Orthodox theology, and the rhythm of liturgical life. Each step along the way brought them closer not just to knowledge, but to Christ Himself.

With thanksgiving to God, we now look forward to seeing the fruits of this spiritual labor blossom in the lives of these new future members of our ecclesial family. May the grace of the Holy Spirit continue to guide them, protect them, and draw them ever deeper into the mystery of the Church.

We thank all who supported this ministry with prayers and presence, and we ask for continued intercession from the saints and the Most Holy Theotokos for these beloved catechumens as they take their next steps in faith.
