A lecture of Fr John Behr: “The Great Mystery: We Shall All Be Changed”.

“After speaking about death and resurrection in his first letter to the Corinthians, the Apostle changes voice to proclaim the mystery: we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed! What is this mystery that Paul speaks about and how was it understood by the Fathers. In this lecture, Fr John will look at the Apostle’s apocalyptic reading of Scripture and, building upon his work on St Irenaeus and more recently St Gregory of Nyssa, explore how they understood our lives as a process of becoming human, finally through death, resurrection, and transformation.”

Through this blog, we strive to bring the divine fragrance of God into our hearts, enriching our souls with His presence.

Orthodox Disability Theology for Christian Communities

Dr. Petre Maican, Orthodox theologian, PhD, and author based in Brussels, is devoted to bridging theology and disability. His work confronts a pressing question: how can Orthodox communities truly welcome people with disabilities, autism, mental illness, and neurodiversity?

This mission is sustained through his Patreon, where supporters receive monthly theological reflections, ministry updates, extended essays, and early access to resources—all while joining a community committed to building a more welcoming Church.

Dr. Maican’s goal is to reach 50 patrons, enabling him to dedicate himself fully to this work.
